Product Manager – SaaS Mold/Tooling Asset Management System
COAST Systems has an immediate opening for a highly skilled, full-time remote Product Manager to lead the development, rollout, and ongoing management of our SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in agile software development, sprint-based methodologies, and release note management, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams.
We are a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for mold/tooling asset management in the plastics industry. Our platform streamlines lifecycle management, helping clients manage maintenance, condition tracking, and asset performance efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Product Management:
- Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies to ensure efficient and timely delivery of product features.
- Work closely with engineering teams to define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
- Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Create and maintain a strategic product roadmap that aligns with customer needs and business objectives.
- Communicate product goals and progress to stakeholders.
- Release Management:
- Oversee the preparation and communication of detailed, clear, and accurate release notes for all product updates.
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on release timing, scope, and key deliverables.
- Collaboration with Onshore and Offshore Teams:
- Coordinate effectively with distributed teams across different time zones to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.
- Foster strong working relationships with engineering, QA, and support teams globally.
- Customer Engagement and Feedback:
- Engage with customers to gather feedback, identify needs, and drive continuous product improvement.
- Act as the customer advocate within the organization.
- Performance and Metrics:
- Monitor and analyze key product metrics to inform improvements and decisions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and platform performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, with expertise in agile software development and sprint-based methodologies (3 years of experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of release management, including creating and managing release notes.
- Experience working with both onshore and offshore teams in a collaborative, distributed environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with the plastics or manufacturing industry is a plus.

Salary: $115,827.00 – $125,934.00 per year
